Hall of Water

    Hi summoners

    As you already know, Hall of Water is defended by a boss with a lot of HP.

    A good option is to use continuous damage which deal 5% HP damage per turn.

    But, there is another splash screen saying that : "Unit with skill doing damage according to a percentile of HP of their ennemy are good against boss with a lot of HP"

    So I wonder which skills makes damage according to opponent HP ?
    And which is your best unit for Hall of Water ?

    I'm fan of Orochi (Wind Ninja)

    I think for these sorts of dungeons a choice for some people are to use Fynn's awakened skill Violent Stab, which causes continuous damage upon critical hit landing. This is why people like to use Focus + Blade to improve critical rate/accuracy.

    Thank you, but Fynn Violent stab don't seems to be efficient as it does only 1 continuous damage every 4 turn

    Ok, so i try to put here the best units we have for the Hall of Water :
    (I try to show which would be the best runes for high level Water Essence farming)

    Orochi (Wind Ninja) - Blade * 2 + Focus (SPD / C.R% / Acc%)
    Taharus (Wind elemental) - Focus * 2 + Blade (SPD / C.R% / Acc%)
    Fynn (Water Imp) - Blade * 2 + Focus (SPD / C.R% / Acc%)

    Any other ideas ?

    Yes ! I found it !
    When splash screen says something like "Unit with skill doing damage according to a percentile of HP of their ennemy are good against boss with a lot of HP"

    It is about skills like Wind amazon's Piercing Arrow: Shoots piercing arrows and inflicts damage proportionate to the enemy's MAX HP

    Do you know which other units has this kind of skill ?

    i usually use orochi, flynn, belladeon, raoq and bethony to clear b7. as for high essence, drop is very random, b3, b5, b6 also have chances to drop high essence.

    Fynn is fine for water dungeon,a perfect fynn should be able to put 4 2-turn dots on, each dot ticks like 5% health. Have 3 fynns and you can get a max of 10 2-turn dots which would tick him from 100 to 0 in 2 turns. Orochi can put 6 1-turn dots, which ticks out 30%of boss health. You can only have 10 dots max at a time on boss, so I would prioritize fynns dot first before orochi

    Here's a list of (obtainable) monsters that do damage based on enemy HP
    • Fire Warbear (2nd skill)
    • Fire Griffon (2nd skill)
    • Fire Elemental (2nd skill)
    • Water Elemental (2nd skill)
    • Water Serpent (3rd skill)
    The scaling I imagine wouldn't be that great though. So as mentioned, DOT would probably be the better choice since Flynn can be used for Giants as well.

    Another option that I use is to have sustained healing. I have an Ahman with 100% crit rate and since the Water Dungeon boss doesn't do that much damage, I can slowly widdle his HP down even using 2 fire monsters.

    Many thanks it's very interesting, but Serpents and Warbears skills are based on their own HP (not enemy HP) so they are not suitable for the Hall of Water.

    8 2turn dots only take him down 80% which is why people get a 3rd fynn, or replace it with another dot monster

    wonder about dark salamanders passive in particular, since he adds it to all his attacks

    Oops misread the skills.

    Yeah, I don't use Ahman anymore for arena defence after the nerf (sometimes I still use him for arena offence depending on the team). I still use him in almost all dungeons though just because his sustained healing is so useful. I'm healing around 2.3K HP per turn and I'm using Fire Vamp as a leader so Ahman attacks often.

    The idea that the scaling wouldn't be great seems hilarious to me, my light mammoth 3rd skill does 35% of his own max HP plus 15% of enemy max HP with 2, 10% dmg skillups and 3 turn CD maxxed out, you get that with 150 CRIT d, and you are basically dang near killing anything in one turn, and no need to worry about resistance.
