So, when I first started playing Summoners War, the hardest part for me was keeping up with chat and advice because I didn't understand most of it. Well, to help newer players, I've complied a list of acronyms.

    SD: Secret Dungeon

    AD: Arena Defense

    AO: Arena Offense

AOE: Area of Effect (A skill that hits more than one enemy monster)

CC: Crowd Control (An immobilization skill to help control a wave of monsters)

    DOT: Damage Over Time

    F2P: Free to play

Feed/Fodder: Monster Used to Evolve or Power Up another. (Usually weak monsters)

    Gz/gratz: Congratulations

HOH: Hall Of Heroes. An event that takes place in the beginning of every month where players can farm for a predetermined four star.

    IMO: In my opinion

LF: Looking For. Used mostly to find secret dungeons.

    Mons: Monsters

Nat(natural): A monster that is summoned at the specified grade, non-awakened. For example, Water Phoenix is a nat 5 because it is summoned or fused at five stars. An awakened Fire Joker (Jojo) is not a nat 5 because its unawakened form is summoned at four stars.

    P2P: Pay to play.

Rezzer: A monster with a revive skill.

RNG: Random Number Generator. The thing that makes you summon one stars instead or two or three stars most of the time.

    TOA: Trial of Ascension.

    Arena Rankings:
Players usually include a number from 1-3 when they talk of their arena rank. This is to indicate what level they are of that rank. For example, Conqueror 1 means they have reached the Conqueror rank with one star beneath it and Fighter 2 means they have reached the Fighter rank with two stars beneath it.

If there's something I missed, feel free to PM me or comment below and I'll add it to the list.

This is very useful, especially for newer players.

Couldn't CC be also used as any debuff that affects all enemies? Or am I wrong?

Also, gz means congrats when someone gets a 5* or evolves to 6*, and IMO means in my opinion (I see these a lot).

I'm pretty sure CC only applies to skills that immobilize such as freeze and stun.
As for gz and imo, they're common terms found in all games so I didn't think they needed to be added. I'll add them anyway though.

CC can refer to any AOE skill that damages your opponent, making their attempts to beat you harder in any way, including speed debuffs as well as immobilization skills such as freeze or stun.

    OP: Overpowered

Rift or ROW: Rift of worlds
    WB: world boss
    DR: dimensional rift

    Hope i helped

Always thought of CC or crowd control as sleep/freeze/stun.. the others were always just aoe debuffers, unless on despair which turns the aoe's into CC. IMHO, (in my humble opinion) :)

Thats generally how I use it as well. But many people use it to refer to all debuffs that are AoEs.

I've always though of CCs as those debuffs that make the enemy more manageable. You don't necessarily have to immobilize the enemy monsters to CC them. You could slow/sword-break/glancing-hit/reduce atkbar/silence/oblivion to make them less of a threat and therefore more manageable.

    dont forget these:

RNG - Random Number Generator - Basically programmed luck......................................
    DB10 - Dragon Dungeon B10
    GB10 - Giants Dungeon B10
    NB10 - Necro Dungeon B10

also, some folks when asked "how many nat 5s you have" do not include those that are fusable. for whatever reason they don't count them in their tallies even though some nat 5s like sigmaurus CAN be summoned.....
